Instructions on how to edit SMS messages: Initially, the app will prompt users to set it as the "Default SMS Handler" before making any edits. It is essential for editing SMS content and performing backups and restores. Post-editing, users should switch back to their default SMS app (Messages) through the settings. Allow a brief moment for the changes to reflect in the default SMS application along with the newly created fake SMS messages.

Ping SMS (Silent SMS) offers a subtle method to determine if a phone number is currently active or offline without triggering any notifications at the recipient's end. By sending a silent SMS, users can discreetly confirm the status of a contact's phone. Permission for sending silent SMS is required for this feature.

The application may request to be set as the "Default SMS handler," which can be adjusted back to the original messaging app once editing is complete. Note that it may take up to 2 minutes for edited messages to display in the default SMS application.

Contact permission is not required for the functionality of this application besides labeling phone numbers.
